HealthChoices.ca Partners with the Men's Health Initiative of BC to Create Men's Health Video Library

HealthChoices.ca has partnered with the Men's Health Initiative of British Columbia (MHIBC) to create a comprehensive library of men's health videos. Each video features leading men's health care providers from the Men's Health Initiative discussing topics such as sexual health, prostate cancer, testicular cancer and men's mental health.
“The Men's Health Initiative was impressed with how HealthChoices.ca connects information with local solutions,” says Dr. Larry Goldenberg, founding director of the Vancouver Prostate Centre and member of the Men's Health Initiative of BC. “Providing information that can be also be acted upon, such as content and relevant providers, is an important aspect in health care. We feel that this is a great way to provide men and their families with timely content on men's health.”
HealthChoices.ca is a national health and wellness directory and informational website that has over 1,200 solution-based videos and articles in several categories. The website connects Canadians with health and lifestyle providers based on their geographic location, and also features updated information from experts and Health Choices editors in the Community Health Talks. With resources on topics such as diabetes, nutrition, fitness, physiotherapy, prenatal and postnatal health, sexual health and sports injuries in its HealthChoices.ca is the largest provider of video content of its kind in North America.
