Dr. Brad Forster Inc.

Vancouver dentist Dr. Brad Forster was born and raised on the North Shore of Vancouver. He studied biology at Capilano College and the University of British Columbia before traveling east to enroll in dentistry at the University of Toronto. After Dr. Forster graduated with honours and completing an internship at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto, he came back to North Vancouver, where he opened a general dentistry practice.

Two years later, Dr. Forster returned to Ontario to enter a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery, which he completed in 1990. He then wrote and passed the Canadian and British Columbian Specialty board examinations.

Dr. Brad Forster has been practicing as a dentist in North Vancouver ever since, performing approximately 1,300 oral and maxillofacial surgeries per year. In 2010 he will become the president of the Canadian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

When he is not working, teaching at UBC, or spending time with his family (a wife, two daughters and two stepdaughters), Dr. Brad Forster enjoys the outdoors, including skiing, rock climbing, and hiking.

We are a Vancouver dental office and oral and maxillofacial surgery practice. This means we do all of our dental surgeries in our fully-accredited facility.

Our reception team is very skilled at making our day run smoothly. It is unlikely that you will have to wait during your dental visit with us. (They are also great at dealing with insurance companies)!

All of our Vancouver dental assistants are Registered Nurses, some of whom have been with is since we started in 1990. A board-certified, medical anesthesiologist administers the general anesthetic if you require it while in our office.

We use only the safest and up-to-date medications and equipment available in our Vancouver dental office. We ensure that your experience is as safe and pleasant as possible.

We use hospital operating-room, sterile techniques to minimize the potential of developing an infection after surgery, or catching a disease from another patient. Our mission is to deliver quality dental care that is efficient and comfortable.
