Optimal health is so much more than the absence of disease or sickness. It is finding a state of well-being where your physical, mental and emotional needs are met. So how does one achieve optimal health? Well, it begins with you. You first must decide to change unhealthy habits and identify why you want to change them. Try not to identify optimal health or success in gaining health by your washboard abs. Try not to define your goals based on social media or other people's opinions. Be true to what you need, go one step at a time, and don't berate yourself if goals are not met at the pace you wish they were.
There are four steps to achieving your optimal health: One, eat differently. Two, love to move. Three, beat stress. And four, understand that sickness is a part of health. You can gauge your health by how quickly you recover from sickness, and being sick every now and then builds up your immune system!
