They then have a lung function test done called spirometry where they breathe forcefully into a tube which is connected to a computer which generates lung function. They then have an evaluation of their eye pressure for the risk of glaucoma, which is an inherited disease that commonly occurs after age 40 and is a common cause of blindness. They then will have the final test which is an electrocardiogram at rest, lying on an examination table to evaluate the resting status of the heart.
